There are moments in life when you look around and realise that something feels different.
Nothing may seem obviously wrong. You may have a job, relationships, responsibilities, and a life that appears perfectly fine from the outside. Yet, somewhere within, you feel disconnected.
You may find yourself asking:
“Who am I now?”
“What do I actually want?”
“When did I stop feeling like myself?”
Feeling lost can be uncomfortable, but it can also be an invitation to reconnect with yourself.
When Life Changes, We Change Too
Life has a way of changing us.
A relationship may end. You may move to a new city or country. Your career may take an unexpected turn. Your priorities may change. Sometimes, you simply outgrow the person you once were.
During these transitions, it is natural to feel uncertain.
We often try to quickly find a solution—to become productive again, make a decision, or move on. But sometimes, what we really need is to slow down and listen to what is happening within us.
You Are Not Broken
Feeling lost does not mean that something is wrong with you.
It may simply mean that an old version of your life no longer fits who you are becoming.
The expectations you once followed may no longer feel meaningful. The relationships you once accepted may no longer feel healthy. The dreams you once had may have changed.
Instead of asking, “What is wrong with me?”, try asking:
“What is this phase of my life trying to show me?”
That small shift can create space for curiosity instead of self-judgment.
Start Listening to Yourself
Finding yourself again does not happen overnight.
It begins with small moments of honesty.
Ask yourself:
- What makes me feel alive?
- What am I doing because I genuinely want to—and what am I doing to please others?
- What emotions have I been avoiding?
- Where in my life am I saying “yes” when I really want to say “no”?
- What would I choose if I wasn’t afraid of being judged?
You don’t need to have all the answers immediately.
Sometimes, the first step is simply giving yourself permission to ask the questions.
Let Go of Who You Think You Should Be
Many of us spend years becoming who we believe we are supposed to be.
The successful person.
The responsible one.
The strong one.
The perfect partner.
The person who never needs help.
But beneath these identities is a person with real emotions, needs, desires and dreams.
Finding yourself again means giving yourself permission to meet that person.
You don’t have to become someone completely new.
Sometimes, you simply need to return to the parts of yourself that you left behind.
Your Journey Back to Yourself
Self-discovery is not about finding one perfect answer.
It is about becoming more aware of what feels true for you.
It is learning to trust your feelings, understand your patterns, set boundaries, make conscious choices and listen to your own inner voice.
And sometimes, having someone walk beside you can make that journey feel less overwhelming.
Through coaching and inner work, you can create a safe space to explore what is happening beneath the surface, understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and begin moving toward a life that feels more aligned with who you are today.
You may feel lost right now, but being lost doesn’t mean you have lost yourself.
Sometimes, it simply means you are ready to find yourself again.
